ESV Bible App

App: ESV Bible

Developer: Crossway

I use the ESV as my main translation of the Bible and I find Crossway to make and produce great content and books, and the ESV Bible is no exception to this.

I’ve been using the ESV Bible app for a number of years now and it is my main go to Bible app to use in church and for personal reading through books of the Bible. I find the app straight forward and easy to use and not overly complicated.

I like that I can sign in with an account and then I can sign in on other devices and access any notes and favourites, although I don’t really use those features as I mainly just use the app for reading the Bible.

Maybe the best feature I use is the ability to switch to the ESV Study Bible and have this on a secondary window and read notes on the passage I’m reading through.

Another great feature is the ability to pay £3.99 a month and then have access to the Crossway library, featuring Study Bibles, Expository Commentaries and other great study aids. Considering the prices of all these books, £3.99 a month to have access to them is a great price.

Overall, the ESV Bible app is a very easy app to use and a great tool to help you study the Bible further. It’s simplistic and not overly complicated which makes it great to use on the go.
